Thanks to the generous support of so many of you, I was able to out-raise my Republican opponents for Secretary of State in 2009 and show that I am in the best position to take on the Democrats and win in 2010. I raised more than $72,000 from outside contributors for my Secretary of State bid last year, dwarfing the efforts of both my opponents, who each loaned their campaigns more than what they raised from individual donors. This impressive fundraising effort shows I am the Secretary of State candidate best able to attract financial support from across the state.
